Doing  this you can retain the body and attack of a bass when distorted, smoothly blend modulations and even play with the phase cancelations produced with different pedals. It's invisible buffers ensures total tonal  transparency. The Blend knob let you dial the dry-wet signal ratio, the Level knob adjusts the overall output, the Phase button sets the dry-wet phase relation to ensure a correct blending between the signals and the internal controls Send Level and Return Level adjusts the perfect level to and from your pedals. But the Parallel Universe isn't just to blend effects, you can also use it as an active splitter, an active mixer, True bypass loop to prevent tone sucking from your old pedals, signal muter with buffered tuner output, Line Driver and many more.
