Eventide about the v3 upgrade
ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, January 13, 2011 — Responding to requests from customers the world over, Eventide today announced the posting of V3 software for TimeFactor, ModFactor and PitchFactor stompboxes for public beta. Two significant features have been added to all three stompboxes: the ability to name presets, and the ability to adjust the output level from -20dB to +4dB in 1dB increments on each preset in order to facilitate seamless gain matching. Additional MIDI control refinements have also been added.
In addition, added to the ModFactor is a new Bass Wah algorithm which is specially optimized for bass, bringing the number of effects to 30. The Vocal Wah effect now allows you to modulate between two vowels instead of just modulating one vowel. This new feature offers lots of new sound possibilities. Lastly, the Classic Chorus and Liquid Chorus algorithms now have enhanced stereo imaging.
