Controls

Octave Level
controls the volume of a tone one octave below the input signal
Tone
controls the tone (bass/treble)
Direct Level
controls the volume of the uneffected input signal

The FX35 creates a note one octave below the note played into it. Sounding like a guitar and bass guitar player together. It lets you play single note bass lines with a guitar or get more punch, more body in the low end from your guitar by combining the guitar note with the created lower note.
