Planetoid is a ring modulator with filter control over the carrier and built in gate to supreme the carrier when you aren't playing to give you maximun control and versatility, plus it also comes with an expression jack for external control over the Frequency (you can use expression pedals, broadcast or can roll your own jack with a LDR for some extra fun).

Planetoid is only powered via a 9v DC adapter (center negative as most pedals - boss, digitech, etc) there are no options for battery usage.
