Voodoo Lab (1997-2000)

Finally, the big sound of the original Uni-vibe (Hendrix's Machine Gun; Robin Trower's Bridge of Sighs) in a small convenient pedal. Experience its lush psychedelic swirl, and trip back to the '60s and '70s. This authentic pedal features the original incandescent lamp and photocells, but can be powered by a 9 volt battery (a Voodoo Lab exclusive!).

Voodoo Lab (2000-2005)

Originally designed in 1968 as a rotating speaker simulator, the Uni-vibe achieved legendary status on landmark recordings by Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

The Voodoo Lab Micro Vibe delivers the lush, psychedelic swirl of the original Uni-vibe. And it’s the only Uni-vibe copy available in a compact, battery-operated pedal. The Micro Vibe includes the original sine-wave oscillator, incandescent lamp, and photocells to achieve the most authentic sound of any Uni-vibe clone.

Voodoo Lab (2005-...)

The Voodoo Lab Micro Vibe delivers the same juicy, swinging tone as an original 1968 Uni-Vibe.* Designed as a Leslie® rotating speaker simulator, the original Uni-Vibe circuit is a variation of a four-stage phase shifter. While it didn’t do so well with keyboard players, its unique sound achieved legendary status when Jimi Hendrix used the effect on his Band of Gypsys record, and his landmark Woodstock performance of “The Star Spangled Banner.” Numerous recordings by guitar heroes like Robin Trower, David Gilmour, and Stevie Ray Vaughan also helped make the Uni-Vibe a tone classic.

Micro Vibe includes the same sinewave oscillator, incandescent lamp, and photocells, which give the original Uni-Vibe its groovy swagger. Thanks to Voodoo Lab’s dedicated, guitar playing engineers, our Micro Vibe gives you the same lush, psychedelic colors of the original, but in an ultra-compact, pedalboard friendly 9V stompbox!
