About
U-Sound was founded by Oleg Vorokha in Moscow in 2003, who still runs the company on his own, with some help of designer Ilya Lipkin.
Timeline (by Oleg Vorokha)
- 1966-1967: I started playing guitar and almost at the same time I started soldering.
- 1970-1974: My first school rock band and first self-assembled pedal (a Wah-Wah in 1971)
- 1974-1976: Soldier in the Soviet Army and playing in a rock band again
- 1977-1983: Playing guitar in a band "Dynamo Machine Group", studying and development of various guitar devices
- 1984-1993: Playing guitar and synthesizer in the clubs and working with a soldering iron, oscilloscope, schematics, PCB's,...
- 1993-1997: Only the soldering iron, oscilloscope and circuits
- 1997-2002: Working for a bank
- Since 2002: Only U-Sound
