T-Rex Alberta

Various

T-Rex (2004-2007)

Alberta is quite unique; she makes your guitar sing.

She provides instant access to the kind of warm overdrive and emotive distortion usually reserved for 30-year-old tube amps. Alberta delivers a creamy, yet crunchy sound with a smooth mid-range boost, reminiscent of the old Ibanez TS-808.

Albertas sweet tube-like harmonics and wide and natural sounding tonal spectrum faithfully reproduces all the subtle nuances of your playing dynamics.

A MUST HEAR!

T-Rex

Alberta - overdrive that's getting it real

The Alberta overdrive pedal was one of the first pedals T-Rex produced, and it crystallizes just about everything this small Danish company is all about - tone, tone, tone.

It's not about Alberta's controls. They're plain minimalistic, with just three knobs - gain, level and tone - in ad-dition to the ON/OFF switch. What sets this pedal apart is its phenomenal sound, no matter how you set the controls.

The blues and beyond

Some people say Alberta was born to play the blues - and it certainly does deliver that vintage tubey warmth that bluesmen are always looking for. But T-Rex would never try to tell you what kind of music to play. We recommend Alberta for everything from Muddy Waters to White Stripes - and we guarantee that this pedal will deliver no matter what kind of music you play.

How do they do it?

Ever wonder what makes T-Rex pedals like the Alberta overdrive so different from what other companies? If you ever visited our offices in Vejle, Denmark, you'd understand straight away. We're not a company that makes music equipment. We're sonic craftsmen who have built a company to deliver the tone we've always looked for in our own gear.
