Tokai TDS-1 Distortion

  • Distortion
This knob regulates the distortion depth and, at the same time, varies the sustain time. Turning it to the right produces a harder distortion and more sustain.
  • Level
This knob regulates the output level of the effect sound. It determines the balance betwen the effect sound and normal sound.
  • Tone
This knob regulates the distortion tone, varying the tone quality after the effect has been applied. The farther it is turned to the right, the more the treble is emphasized; the farther it is turned to the left, the more the bass is emphasized.

The TDS-1, equipped with Tokai original tone controls, can freely create everything from a mild, soft distortion to a powerful, hard distortion, while maintaining the balance between treble and bass under all conditions. It responds sensitively to the delicate picking nuance of the player, and features a wide distortion effect range along with a pleasant sustain effect.
