Saturnworks Saturn Fuzz

It all started with a Big Muff. A few years back I scrimped to buy a vintage Electro-harmonix Big Muff fuzz pedal. I was thrilled with its absolute rock-ness, but quickly discovered that unfortunately the pedal amplified the signal, even when it was turned off. I called around to a few guitar electronic specialists only to learn that modifying the pedal to true bypass would cost well over $100! Discouraged but still hopeful, I found a simple solution in the true bypass loop pedal. I made one for myself and it was just the trick. It allowed me to bypass the pedal when turned off, avoiding the unwanted signal boost. Since then I've been sharing the looper love through Saturnworks pedals, specializing in loopers, switches, and reincarnations of out of production versions of my favorite fuzz pedal, the Big Muff.

The Saturnworks Saturn Fuzz launches your tone into the beyond! Based on the coveted (out of production) "Civil War" Green Russian Big Muff, but with higher quality components and higher output transistors, the Saturn Fuzz has a smoother distortion than other Muff-type pedals and features a massive low end. The Saturn Fuzz is perfect for Pumpkins-esque wall-of-sound fuzz; yet, depending on the settings, can also produce some nice high end cut for smooth leads.

This pedal is hand crafted with high quality components including Neutrik jacks, a cast aluminum Hammond-type case, and true bypass switching. The Saturn Fuzz can be powered by either a 9v battery or DC 'Boss' style adapter. The Saturn Fuzz measures 4.5"x3.5"x1.5".
