The PFEIFFER COMPRESSOR is based on a Ross Gray compressor circuit. At the heart of this design is an Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) and five high-gain silicon transistors.
Two modifications have been made, an attack knob and a tone knob. The attack knob let’s you adjust compression to your picking intensity by adjusting the aggressiveness of the compression. The tone knob gives you further control of your sound by varying the compressor’s high-pass filter.
This pedal has true bypass using a 3PDT heavy duty stomp switch. Powered by a 9V, negative post AC adaptor (not included), or battery. All Pfeiffer pedals are hand-wired and finished with attractive laser printed lettering sealed in a polymer coating.
