Lumpy's Tone Shop about the 2 knob version

This is a MKII Tone Bender replica done by Lumpy's Tone Shop. This particular pedal is built in a larger enclosure, a Hammond 1590P1. It uses a trio of NOS Mullard OC81M transistors which provide a full fat fuzz tone with excellent clean up at lower fuzz settings. There is a battery on/off switch located on the level knob, simply turn it all the way down and you can leave your guitar plugged in without draining the battery. It's perfect for the early Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck tones among many others!

Specs:

  • True bypass switching with on/off LED (blue)
  • The enclosure is powder coated in mirror black with my Led Bender theme, the lettering is chrome.
  • NOS Mullard/Philips Mustard caps and BC Components electrolytics
  • NOS Mullard OC81M transistors, each tested for gain and leakage to ensure the best match
  • Shielded wire is used to keep the noise levels low
  • Aluminum knobs, Switchcraft jacks
  • Dimensions: 6"L x 3.2"H x 2"D

Lumpy's Tone Shop about the 3 knob version

Here's the first MKII of 2010 from Lumpy's Tone Shop! This pedal will get you those early Jimmy Page tones along with Jeff Beck and many others. The pedal cleans up quite well at lower settings on the fuzz knob and at higher settings you can get various shades of overdrive/distortion and fuzz just by working your guitar's volume knob. This pedal also features a battery on/off switch on the volume knob which will allow you to leave the pedal plugged in and not drain the battery!

Features:

  • True bypass with on/off LED
  • The enclosure is powder coated in tangerine copper with the burning Zeppelin image
  • NOS Mullard OC81M transistors, tested for gain and leakage to ensure the best match. The "M" in OC81M stands for miniature due to the smaller casing.
  • NOS Mullard/Philips Mustard caps and BC Components electrolytics
  • Shielded wire is used to keep the noise levels low
  • External bias knob which will allow you to adjust the pedal for varying temperatures or different shades of fuzz
  • Marshall style knobs, Switchcraft jacks, battery on/off switch

The knobs from left to right are bias, volume and fuzz/attack.
