The Faye's Her is Infanem's dual phaser inspired by the legendary Mutron Bi-Phase, capable of both stereo and mono(series, parallel, or single channel) signal routing. Starting with two separate signal paths borrowed from the Compact Faye Sing, the Faye's Her adds square wave modulation, channel synching, expanded LFO range, and more.
BALANCE- Controls the amount of clean signal blended in with the phase shifted signal. Maximum phasing depth can be had in the middle third of the travel. The counterclockwise third acts as a clean blend, enabling more clarity and less phasing. The clockwise third blends from phase tones to vibrato tones. Hard clockwise with max RANGE creates a deep, detuned vibrato.
RESONANCE- Adds feedback to the circuit, increasing intensity and creating more distinct filter peaks.
RANGE- Controls the depth of modulation. Each side has an LED at the top of its control panel that follows the modulation, providing a visual reference to Rate and Range settings.
Upper controls the highest frequency that the sweep reaches. Clockwise allows the modulation to extend into the treble frequencies, rolling back limits it to lower frequencies, giving a darker, more vibe-like tone.
Lower works like the Range control on the Compact Faye Sing, controlling the lowest frequencies that the sweep reaches. Counterclockwise to 12 o'clock is the standard range that most phasers operate in. Beyond that, lower frequencies enter the sweep range and allow things to get more throbbing and guttural.
RATE- Controls either the speed of modulation or manual phase sweeps in MANUAL mode.

Low produces LFO sweeps from a few seconds to 100 seconds in length
Med produces LFO sweeps from a few seconds in length to several cycles per second
High extends from several cycles per second to beyond the physical limitations of optical modulation in the low audio range. On this setting, modulation depth gradually decreases above roughly 10 cycles per second.
Sine produces sinusoidal modulation in Low and Med speed ranges and triangle modulation in High
Square produces square wave modulation
Manual disables the modulation oscillator and allows either fixed phase sounds controlled by the RATE knob or manual sweeps via external controllers or CV/Exp inputs for distinctive phase-wah sounds.
Sync switch (right side only)
Lock syncs the right side's modulation to the left side's oscillator. The right side's Speed and Shape switches are disabled in this setting.
Inv. Lock syncs the right side's modulation to the inverse of the left side's oscillator. The right side's Speed and Shape switches are disabled in this setting.
Free allows the two circuits to use their individual oscillators.
All top-mounted signal and power jacks. The signal jacks serve dual functions to facilitate both stereo and mono operation.
For stereo, the jacks are, right to left: Right input, Left input, Right output, Left output. Using only one set allows for only one phase circuit to be used in mono.
To use both circuits in mono, plugs are inserted into either the inner or outer pair of jacks. Inner(input to Left in, output from Right out) yields series operation in which the left circuit cascades into the right. Outer(input to Right in, output from Right out) yields parallel operation.
Standard Boss-style 2.1mm 9VDC input, negative tip. Current draw is approximately 500mA. Infanem recommends the Godlyke Powerall as the most cost effective and best featured option for powering the Faye's Her.
The seven pin connector accepts either of two external controllers that will become available mid-May. The first has two footswitches for individual toggling of the phase circuits as well as CV/Exp inputs for rate control or manual sweep. The other has the two footswitches along with two attached treadles for rate control/manual sweep and CV outputs to allow the treadle to control other effects.
Optional CV/Exp jacks accept either 0-5V CV signal or passive expression pedal and allow external rate control or manual sweep. When using CV, a TRS (stereo) cable is best to prevent unnecessary current draw.
Relay-based soft touch true bypass switching.
Internal trimpots allows volume adjustment of each side for unity gain with any gear setup.

Internal voltage conversion provides components with isolated bipolar +-12V while using standard 9VDC power. This increases headroom and keeps the circuit dead silent in nearly every setting.
Double sided, through-hole plated PCBs produced in Mulino, OR and assembled in-house using RV24 Alpha full-size potentiometers, JFET input op amps, metal film resistors, polyester film caps, and other quality components.
