FX Doctor 8-Bit Fuzz
Submitted on September 22, 2005.
Various
- FX Doctor:
The 8-Bit fuzz is a high gain gated fuzz. It has a synth feel to give a broken Nintendo sound. You basically lose all dynamics. The note feels like a keyboard, immediate attack and the note just disappears suddenly. Random octave dives at certain settings as well as a fat, raspy fuzz in the lower octaves. True bypass and volume knob. Powered by 9V battery or DC jack. Now with sonically matched transistors and more low-end.
The Deluxe 8-Bit has controls for gain and stability. The stability control effects how the fuzz reacts to your playing and whether the notes decay naturally or "glitch out."
