Overdrive based on the legendary Tube Screamer TS-808 and Mustang Shelby

Shelby 808 is a high quality overdrive based on the legendary Tube Screamer TS-808, the holy grail of the overdrives. The art is based on the famous Mustang Shelby GT350 '69. The perfect marriage between two classics to produce a state-of-the-art pedal.

As it is well known, the sound of this pedal stands because it compresses the sound wave with minimum loss in the original signal. This pedal is commonly used with a transistor amplifier to emulate the beautiful sound of vacuum tubes amplifiers. Many musicians take the pedal one step further and they combine it with tube amplifiers to saturate the signal in the pre-amplification phase, creating harmonic sounds when mixed with the original signal.

The pedal accents the mid-range frequencies creating a well-balanced sound with great dynamics that provide the versatility required when playing in a band. We have incorporated the same circuitry of the TubeScreamer TS808, utilizing only the highest quality materials such as the JRC4558 chip which is considered the mojo that made distinctive the original Ibanez pedal. But we could not help adding our very own signature circuit board which adds up the quality of the original pedal by enhancing the signal eliminating the noise unavoidable in the old technology.

The finish of the Shelby is high caliber steel, painted with powder coater that is cured in ovens. The car design is silk screen printed with high traffic epoxy resin for longer endurance.

The pedal uses standard 9V power supply with a compartment for batteries for added transportability.

If you like sound of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Noel Gallagher, Carlos Santana, you should get one!
