The dp musicworks Compressor model C-3080 is based on the vintage ROSS compressor. "3080" refers to the chip that is the heart of the circuit. It features the CA3080A which has improved specs over the cheaper 3080 usually found in the ROSS and others. Specially selected New-Old-Stock Matsushita 2SC1849 transistors are used as in the ROSS. It is powered by a 9-volt battery and comes finished in light gray with sustain and level controls, true-bypass switching, a red LED indicator, and an AC adapter input (adapter not included).
