Do-In SSM-2 Speaker Simulator

A typical guitar speaker cab isn't designed to faithfully reproduce the sound presented by the amplifier. Unlike the Hi-Fi systems and front of house systems that strive for a wide frequency bandwidth and uncoloured sound, guitar speaker cabs are an important part of the sound creation process. During the process, you may get the sound directly from the guitar or effect pedal, but you will heard many of grittiness from the sound. Then you are likely to get the best guitar sound through front of house by using one or more microphones around the guitar speaker cab, and the microphone types and complicated placement are very important to the sound quality. Speaker simulators are mostly preset, and highly tailored equalizers to emulate guitar speaker cab resonance, and microphone techniques. Then microphone types and placement will be not a crucial and important part during the sound creation process.

SSM-2 Speaker Simulator is a well-designed pedal that will take away all the grittiness from the sound without killing the transient attack, and will often sound more natural than using Equalizer during the sound creation process. SSM-2 can also enhance the sound, even when used in conjunction with real guitar speakers.

SSM-2 is a professional stomp box with a control knob for 'VOLUME'. Additionally, it can be powered with a standard 9-volt battery or with an AC adapter( any kind of adapter with DC-9V output). SSM-2 also offers a DC output jack (in the back of the case) for the purpose of supplying DC power to other Guitar Effect. A heavy duty True-Bypass metal switch mounted on the case for toggling the effect on/off and a large red LED status indicator resides on the face of the unit. Owning a SSM-2 is the way you get the good recording sound!
