Dice Works Muff Diver+

  • Erich from Dice Works:

Muff Diver+ is my Triangle Big Muff circuit, with some modifications. The toggle option accesses a new mode based more on what I think Pete Cornish did to this effect for David Gilmour in 1976. It involves taming the bass (which can get wooly), and adding some clarity and seperation to the notes. There is a significant difference between the "stock" mode and my toggle option. This is the effect Gilmour used for "Money", "Comfortably Numb", and most of his signature lead tones up until 1980-1981. All silicon, with more flexability and tone control than the modern Big Muff.

  • Dice Works about the Ram's Head version:

This is the Ram's Head version of my Muff Diver. One toggle for a brighter, more conventional EQ, standard center negative tip power (so no issues with any power source), true bypass switching, and metal film resistors for lowest noise possible.
