The item your viewing is faithful reproduction of the tycobrahe octavia. These are hand made one at a time. This version is specially converted to operate on negative ground power, and is compatable with a series power supply. The octavio is designed to bring the ultimate octave pinging sound, it incorpates a pair of carefully selected diode to highlight that octave up pinging sound. Frustrated with octavias that are too harse and distorted well we were able to keep it smooth and musical like the orginals. Jimi hendrix used this type of pedal on the solo to purple haze among many other classic tracks.
