Analog-Lab Xpass Filter

  • LFO Frequency
controls the speed/rate of the LFO wave that controls the effect
  • Mod Amount
controls the depth/amplitude of the modulation (the size of the range in which the effect sweeps).
  • Resonance
sets the amount of effected signal fed back into the effect (for a stronger effect)
  • Cutoff
controls the cut-off frequency of the filter.
  • Mod switch
selects the modulation type: triangular LFO wave, square LFO wave, envelope follower or attack/release selector
  • Xpass
sweeping bandpass; crossfades between Lowpass mode on the left and hipass mode on the right.
  • Bandpass/notch
    selects the filter type
  • 12/24dB
switches between 12dB and 24dB filters
  • Attack
controls the attack when the mod switch is in the attack/release mode
  • Release
controls the release when the mod switch is in the attack/release mode
  • Output
controls the output volume of the effect
  • Headphones
controls the output volume of the effect

The Analog-Lab Xpass Filter is an analog filter that offers an infinity of sound designing possibilities. It allows to make accurate works on the frequencies, can provide tremendous effects and also can bea great sound designer for all your productions, in live or in studio. The Xpass Filter has to figure in all the gear list of thus who believe that analog sound is a pledge of musiclity and dynamics. It's a mono filter that accepts mono or stereo sources to restitute a "pseudo-stereo".

Its conception: Conceived in a pure analog technology, the Xpass Filter has a special dynamic, a sharp precision and a great sound personality that make it one of the most powerful, expressive and creative tool, Once you will have heard and manipulated the Xpass Filter, you'll have imediatly the feeling to extend your sound research scope. The real-time controls makes it intuitive and comfortable.

Its fonctions:The Xpass Filter consists of two essential sections: the filtering capacities and the modulation generators. It's a hipass, lowpass, bandpass et notch that you can switch in 12 or 24 dB, with the exclusive capacity of sweeping between the lowpass and hipass thanks to the "xpass" pot. Its modulations are two lfos (triangle and square), an enveloppe follower and a volume modulation generator with attack/release controls. The Xpass Filter is an instrument by itself and the indispensable complement of all kind of productions, in all styles. It accepts all sound sources thanks to its numerous inputs: line, instrument, phono (with Riaa integrated), control voltage 0-5v. If you're a sound ingeneer, keyboard player, guitarist, dj, etc, you'll can plug all your instruments in the Xpass Filter. See details in the characteristics & specifications.

The Xpass Filter becomes an ideal bridge between your creativity and its immediate realization.
