Acid Fuzz 1965 Mk 1

Acid Fuzz

This is a direct clone of the mighty MKI Tone Bender Fuzz made by Acid Fuzz. This is serial # 010, the last of the first batch of ten MKI clones made by Acid Fuzz in the 125B size enclosures and has the older "1965 MKI" graphics, before the name + graphic was changed to "Acid Fuzzer MKI".  This one's loaded with three NOS OC75 germanium transistors and is a straight up MKI circuit with lots of sustain and is very thick, brutal, and LOUD, but is still very quiet in terms of any background noise. This Fuzz is not very gated sounding like some MKI's, and works well with both single coils and humbuckers.  This pedal takes wah's well and has a really nice note bloom and rich overtones.  This one has the power switch so you can leave it plugged in on a pedal board without draining the battery, but does not feature the external bias or tone switch option.

  • Three hand selected NOS OC75 germanium transistors
  • Allen Bradley carbon composition resistors
  • Aplha high quality 3PDT stomp switch
  • Point to Point wired circuit board
  • Mustard input cap
  • '60's Hopkins signal caps
  • Power Switch
  • True Bypass Switching
  • Shielded signal cables for low noise
  • Battery Included
  • 3 year warranty
