How did TouellSkouarn start?

It all started by repairing an old mono tube amp I found in the attic!

I learned most from the DIY Stompboxes forum and reading on internet.

TouellSkouarnWhere do the name and logo come from?

The name is a neologism in the Breton language, with means 'ear illusion', "trompe l'oreille".

The logo is an adaptation from the logo of my graphic design company (Ultra Rapide Canari).

How do you name your pedals?

In Breton!

Can you tell us something about the production process?

The circuits are handwired and pcb using vintage components and parts.

The enclosures are etched, the modular panels are made from Plexiglass.TouellSkouarn Debron Fri

How important is the look of your pedals?

Very, my main job is graphic designer.

Is parts selection important?

Yes, I use mainly NOS components.

Which of your pedals makes you most proud?

Breton pedals

Which of your pedals is the most popular?

I don't know.

What does the future of TouellSkouarn look like?

To build more pedals and eurorack modules.
