[interview] Bigfoot F.X.: Jered Caywood

Here's FXDB's interview with Jered Caywood of Bigfoot F.X.:

How did Bigfoot F.X. start?

It started by my love for pedals and tone... for my own pedalboard.

My cousin had an electronics book from college that he let me borrow and I found lots of info on the net.

I started BigfootFX in my garage in late 2008.

How do you name your pedals?

Magnavibe: 'magna' for Magnatone & '-vibe' for vibrato.

Can you tell us something about the production process?

Just little ol' me. All done here from scratch except powder-coating. The Logos are permanent by a special baking process.

How important is the look of your pedals?

The look is important to me.

Is parts selection important?

Parts that last are important... like solid input and output jacks.

Who uses your pedals and for which genres?

I mostly make pedals to my own taste as a guitarist.

Some famous users of my pedals are Greg Koch, Billy Gibbons, Nels Cline, Henry Kaiser,...
